Terroir

Southern Burgundy's terroirs, with their south/south-west orientation, have been producing wine since Gallo-Roman times. Its limestone subsoils are perfect for the Chardonnay grape, which produces the white wines, and also for the Gamay varietal, originally from the neighbouring Beaujolais wine-growing area, which produces the reds.

Commentaries by our oenologist

"Colour: intense peony red. A slightly peppery, fruity and very aromatic nose. In the mouth it is smooth and slightly peppery, developing notes of black fruit such as blackberries, making it a pleasant wine that can be enjoyed right now. Serve at 14°C."
